I have been thinking if I should buy angry bird hat for halloween or not, and finally, I bought it this morning! However, nobody wore halloween costume today. Today was Sunday. I
think people already enjoyed holloween party last night. I felt something wrong while I was wearing angry bird hat on the street. So next year, I will go out on proper date and will enjoy
halloween costume!!
I use drafting desk recently. Drafting desk has titling surface, so it allows me to draw without having sholder&back pain. The desk doesn't allow me to put anything on the top. All the stationaries and papers are falling down. Eventually I keep my desk very clean all the time. That's nice.
Weekend starts from Friday afternoon in the U.S.
It was about 12:30 pm, I jut got the office. I was going to start working but the person who meet at office elevator said 'have a good weekend' to me. I felt somehow strange because I haven't started to work! The phrase 'have a good weekend' made me feel not to work! I wanted to go out and do something fun!
But it wasn't like that when I used to work in Japan. I didn't care about the date, so I worked until late night on Friday. My weekend started from Saturday! hahaha, my life has changed....
Halloween is all around the city these days.
Some creppy ghoasts are hunging from the trees, and cute gohsts are on the window. Amomng them, I found a real black cat, I was surprised the cat suddenly moved!!!
I had weird dream. I made a lot of miso soup and served it to many people, probably they were my friends, and they seemed like hate the miso-soup. They didn't speak at all and force themselve to finsh the miso-soup as soon as possible. woo, hope it's not gonna happen!
I went to language exchange for my first time. It's basically about having conversation with native English speakers who wants to learn Japanese. For me, native Japanese speakers who want to learn English, it was great oppotunity and and fun!
I got some questions like 'what is the differences between Daiji and Taisetsu in Japanese?'
Yuki : It's not eaty to explain Japanese by English.
Nyankichi-sensei : you can learn a lot from the meeting!
When I evaluate a restaurant, seeing the balance of how much I pay and how delicious the dishes is are crucial.
Yuki : I am not interested in a delicious and expensive restaurant.
Frog & Nyankichi-Sensei : what happends?
For example, Mexcian dishes, Tacos are cheap and delicious.
I would like to introduce my friends on the desk. (hehehe)
One is a gold frog with Chinese character, 福 lucky. Another one is lucky cat which also have 福. Those are very small, same as my thumb.
Other friend on my desk are an egg shaped box with three little regs. The box can open and can contain some stuffs.
Those small things always give me small happines :)
I have a friend who knows a lot about typography.
Yuki : do you know any typeface go well with Verdana?
Rabbit : Verdana was made by Mattew Cartener and blablabla...
I try to choose good typeface when I create my work. A good tyeface help illsutration to look better... or ...I should say, it is extremely important to have good typeface for illustrations.
My friend recomened me one typeface called, Archer.
Archer

I like how this typeface contains elegant but lovely atomosphere.
There are too many typefaces in the world to know!
I enjoy Apps recently.
Frog : you play too much
Nyankichi sensei : You don't need book anymore! (really!?)
Especially I enjoyed the Apps called 'The Three Little Pigs' In the Apps, you will see two version of pigs: one is normal pig figure, the other is x-rayed figure. I put the link of youtube, enjoy!
I had an evacuation drill today at my school. About after 3hours, I had REAL earthquake!!! It was my first time to have earthquake in San Francisco! so surprised and got scared!

Hamukichi walks by four feet. But when he sleeps, he put his back on the floor and has his four legs on his belly. Looks like round mochi! I wonder if he can sleep well. (looks like he sleeps well most of the time).
I went to a hair salon in San Francisco, which hair-salon students perfourm all the service for learning pourpose. I asked the student who cut my hair to reduce my hair-volum and make it about 1 inch shorter. .....and I slept.
Naynkichi-sensei : yea, being touched head is confortable... I understand.
I went to a cafe in Japantown called NEW PEOPLE and saw one interesting doll on doughnuts box. As you can see my illustration, it looked very funny.
Yuki : ugly but cute.
Nyankichi-sensei : is it cute??
I haven't wrote about Hamukichi for while, but he has been doing good. These days, he likes to dig a hole and sleep at there. He looks like always hiding under white fluff. One day, I saw the moment he was digging. Oh~ Ah~ he was very cute ♥
Uwokichi gets used to being with me.
Nyankichi-sensei : Uwokichi is the fish my friend gave it to me.
Uwokichi comes up to see me when I close to him. He is just a fish but looks kinda cute now!
For some reasons, I am always sleepy these days. Sleepy on the buss, sleep at a cafe, sleepy even in my house. Maybe I am still growing up!
Today's doodling dialry is also with Ura-san!
Ura-san : Yeeeey~!
Yuki : You know? He came by dragon from Japan.
Nyankichi-Sensei : Reeeaaaaaaaalllllly?
Frog & Ura-san : This is a fib. hehehe, Just kidding!

It's been seven months after the earthquake. I don't have much to say but I have several thoughts which I cannot make it as written words. I would like to do the things I can do now step by step.
Halloween will come soon. I see a lot of pumpkins around San Francisco. for instance, pumplkin on top of a roof, pumplkin on the street, tons of pumpkins at groccery store. Pumpkins make me happy!
I took a long nap today. After I wake up I didn't wanna do anything, so I saw my plant called Maiden hair. Plant healing, it was nice.
Yesterday's morning was terrible!!!! It was too much rain to commute to school!!
When I arrived at bus station, I literally saw the small pond in front of bus stop. Some people took their shoes out and walked into the pond to cross the street. I also saw some floating stuffs at the pond.
haaa, it was terrible morning.
今日の午後は、午前中がウソだったみたいにいい天気になりました。アップルストアの前を通りすぎた時に、たくさんのメッセージとお花をみました。
I was gonna post my rain story, but my scanner behaves strange today again I couldn't update my doodoling! I will post the story tomorow. Yes, It was terrible heavy rain this morning, but it got completely good weather when I pass by Apple store in S.F around noon. The apple store shows like this.

Until he passed away, I hadn't realized how much Steve Jobs has influenced and inspired many people all over the world.
