My friend told me that there are a volunteer organization helps shelter dogs to walk and to get used to people. What they do is simply walk dogs and play with them. The dogs are usually in the cage and are under the stress. Walking with volunteers is the only chance that the can exercise and this make dogs be more friendly to people. As a result, the dogs will have more chance to be adopted.
I want to do this volunteer in the near future!
